


CPR - Child and Adult (Heartsavers)
Do you have elderly parents or know someone with heart troubles? Do you work for a daycare or own your own private daycare? Are you a Scout leader or athletics coach? Would you know what to do in an emergency situation?This class is a must for everyone! This course is designed to teach you emergency techniques for cardiopulmonary resuscitation of children and adults. You will also learn how to use an automatic external defibrillator (AED). An American Heart Association completion card (credentialed) will be issued. This daycare-required course may also be taken by any lay rescuer. This course is approved by the American Heart Association.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS [Basic Life Support], ACLS [Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support], and PALS [Pediatric Advanced Life Support] and has developed instruction materials for this purpose.
