You CAN Paint! – Georgia O’Keeffe’s Poppy

While Ms. O’Keeffe painted a variety of subjects, her most well-known paintings were of her beloved New Mexico and a variety of flowers. In this fun and exciting class, you will recreate a striking still life similar to Ms. O’Keeffe’s Poppy, a beautiful red-orange flower with a dark leafy background. Even if you have never painted before, you will create a masterpiece in oil paint as vibrant as the original while using time-saving shortcuts and special techniques. Frame your work of art to keep for yourself or give as a gift. You could also have your art reproduced as holiday cards. All supplies are furnished. Wear old clothes and bring a roll of paper towels.
